Umm an-Nar
Copper from the Hajar mountains and dates from oases such as Al Ain sustain Bronze Age settlements like Umm an-Nar, near Abu Dhabi, in the third millennium BC. Their round stone tombs still stand at Hili and Umm an-Nar. The region, probably part of the land Mesopotamian texts call Magan, trades copper with Mesopotamia and the Indus valley.
